Information

Neuro Linguistic Psychotherapy and Hypno-Psychotherapy offers solutions to a wide variety of different problems and conditions, often in a relative short time frame.

These therapies can also be utilised to aid personal growth or improve further adequate levels of performance in a variety of areas and contexts. For medically unexplained symptoms, like Chronic Fatigue syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, etc. Reverse Therapy is the most effective therapy to treat these conditions.

The Next Step

Since you have already been potentially looking for the assistance of a psychotherapist, this may indicate that you have identified certain areas in your life that you would like support with.

The initial consultation provides an opportunity to mutually assess whether we might work together. At this first meeting we also explore what you would like to gain from psychotherapy or hypnotherapy and whether our work together will be for a specific period or an open-ended arrangement. After hearing your presenting difficulties at the beginning of the consultation, I will be able to give you an estimated indication of approximately how many treatments will be required.

Neuro-Linguistic Psychotherapy, Hypno-Psychotherapy and Advanced Hypnotherapy can make rapid lasting changes in a relative short period of time.
It can also be adapted to provide a dynamic context to work with more deep seated problems over a longer time frame. Consultations are normally arranged on a weekly basis at the same time and day wherever possible.

Paying For Therapy

How much does therapy cost?

•         Initial consultation £80 for 1 hour 15 minutes
•         Subsequent consultations £70 for 1 hour

Payment can be made either by cash, cheque or PayPal.

Are there any ways of lowering the cost therapy?
I do offer a ‘sliding scale' or lower price therapy for certain people who have financial restrictions. There are a limited number of these places available each week and people requesting these services are placed on a waiting list which guarantees to reserve their place. This encourages a fair system for people with restricted finances to access psychological services at an affordable price.

Medical insurance
Some medical insurance companies will fund therapy for certain conditions, but they may ask for referral from a psychiatrist or medical consultant. You can ring your insurer and ask without giving your name, just tell them what type of insurance you have.

Employee Assistance Program
Some employers have an Employee Assistance Program, which allows employees a number of 'free' psychotherapy or counselling sessions. If you have an occupational nurse you can ask them if this is available.
